Alachua County Well Reaches New Max Level

Groundwater levels in the Upper Floridan Aquifer at the end of March remained very high in eastern Levy, Alachua, Bradford, Union, and Baker counties despite lower than average rainfall in February and March. The GRU-Deerhaven well in northern Alachua County once again reached a new maximum level last week. Its measurement record extends back to 1978.
