What We Do

The District manages water and related natural resources in north-central Florida by providing water quality and quantity monitoring, research, regulation, flood protection as well as land acquisition and management.

The goal of the District is to meet the water needs of current and future water users while protecting and preserving the water resources within its boundaries.
