The northwest region of the District follows the district boundaries through Jefferson County and portions of both Madison and Taylor counties. The Econfina, Aucilla, and Wacissa rivers flow through the northwest region to the Gulf of Mexico.
Recreational opportunities in this region include biking, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, hunting, and wildlife viewing.
